| Uninstalled Good Lock on Stock S6 TMOBILE and now phone will NOT boot Posted: 15 Jun 2016 02:34 PM PDT I installed Good Lock yesterday through Galaxy Store yesterday (not the APK) and I just uninstalled it via the app itself. Now, my phone is just repeatedly displaying the wallpaper and is continually turning the screen on and off. I am on vacation in Aruba right now and needless to say this kind of sucks. Any ideas on what I can try to rectify? I am extremely disappointed that my completely stock phone is essentially bricked at this point. On occasion it is telling me that 'System UI' has crashed. Thanks EDIT: Spoke to Samsung via chat. Tried booting into safe mode.... Same thing was happening. Had to do a factory reset.. Yeesh!! PSA I guess [link] [comments]  |

Then in the last month my phone has stopped showing the contact name and only ever shows a phone number and state when someone calls. Its like my contacts got screwed up or something? | Phone not connecting to correct WiFi Posted: 15 Jun 2016 02:32 PM PDT I have a stock, not rooted, Verizon Galaxy S6 running Marshmallow. The WiFi in my home has an SSID based on the name of the street I grew up on (let's call it Birmingham). What makes this even better is that I set my parents' WiFi and my brother's WiFi with the same SSID and the same obscured WPA2 passcode, and my sister followed suit when she set hers up. Now, no matter whose house we are at, our devices will connect to the WiFi automatically. From time to time, I have found myself at an establishment that provides free Xfinity WiFi (SSID xfinitywifi), so I connected, and use it whenever it is nearby. One of my new neighbors has apparently installed Xfinity and has not changed the SSID, or added any sort of security. After a while of noticing that the WiFi was not as fast as it should be, I had a "duh" moment and realized that it has been connecting to my neighbor's xfinitywifi, and not to my own Birmingham. Birmingham's signal strength is full, while the neighbor's Xfinity is much weaker, as one would assume from a more distant router. My phone, however, always seems to choose xfinitywifi over Birmingham, unless I tell it to forget the xfinitywifi network. Is there a way to tell it to prioritize my own, more powerful, network over the neighbor's weaker signal? I always thought it would go for the most powerful signal first, but I'm apparently wrong. Posted: 15 Jun 2016 01:26 PM PDT I was sideloading the new Android N Beta 4 OTA update from Google, but it got stuck on 59% so I turned it off (what an idiot). Not the system is corrupted. I wiped all data and cache. I need help trying to flash Android M onto my device. The problem is I can not unlock my bootloader. I get a " remote failure" in CMD. There doesn't seem to be any kind of operating system on the device currently, so I can not unlock it via developer options. [link] [comments]  |

I was in the Verizon store the other day for another issue and was looking at the phones and saw the LG v10. It has a nice feel and the screen was very attractive. Very little bevel and the size was perfect. I was doing some research on issues but can't find to many oddities with this phone like others like battery or screen issues. I was wondering if anyone has this phone and what you thought? I need a good battery, do a lot of picture taking and something with limited blotware.... | Posted: 15 Jun 2016 12:13 PM PDT Earlier I was using youtube to watch online videos when I ran out of space on my device. A message popped up saying android.process_ something had stopped working, I didn't really care at the time so I pressed okay, when it popped up around 5 more times and for whatever reason I still didn't pay attention to it. Eventually I got annoyed and just restarted my phone. When it restarted, my phone didn't even prompt me to enter my pin password it just brought me to the home page. Also when I try to bring down my notifications, it pops out only a little, but not the whole thing. For whatever reason, my when I opened my apps, the asked me once again to give permission for them to use images from gallery and etc but I had already allowed them in the past. What's also weird is that I usually have the landscape option disabled and each time I restart my phone it enables itself. Any apps that I open, I can't go back to the home menu unless I press recent apps button and then the home button for whatever reason. This all happened at the same time. TLDR: *Cant pull down notification bar Moto G wont lock If anyone calling on my number then its saying busy. But considering that Sygic is not linked to a single device (or is it?) then it means it truly is lifetime, right? It's currently on sale and I am considering buying the most expensive option. | Root only works for some apps, kills my data connection... Posted: 15 Jun 2016 07:25 AM PDT No idea how or why this happened. I had root working fine on 6.0.1 with TWRP, Busybox and ElementalX, otherwise stock besides root apps. For the most part... My Nexus 6P worked perfectly with the March update MHC19Q, but I decided to update using Flashfire. That seemed to work - it was up to date and root worked, etc. However, it broke TWRP somehow (it couldn't read the userdata partition). Flashfire backups also failed since they tried to backup all the music I had pinned to the device in GPM. I tried flashing TWRP again, version 3.0.2-0, but same issue. I ignored that issue for the most part though. But for whatever reason, I updated Busybox using the app and then began to have issues - Busybox said I didn't have root. Then Adaway and the ElementalX kernel manager app said I didn't have root. SuperSU said I did and Titanium Backup worked with root. All the mentioned apps also showed the "granted root privileges" toast regardless of whether they worked and all were set as granted in the SuperSU app. I then tried updating SuperSU to 2.65 by flashing it in Flashfire, which didn't work (it rebooted and didn't fix anything). Then I updated using TWRP. Also failed. Flashed system with fastboot and then flashed SuperSU again. Failed. But then it started to kill my data connection on LTE. Weird. No internet without wifi, but texts worked. So I flashed everything but userdata from the latest images, and then flashed TWRP (3.0.2-0) and flashed SuperSU - and it failed again and said something about not being able to write to system. So I mounted system and unchecked 'mount as read only'. Flashed SuperSU again and it failed. And again killed my data on LTE. Flashed system and recovery with flashboot again, reflashed TWRP and rebooted into it so it doesn't get overridden, then booted to system to check data - I have data with LTE with TWRP. Reboot, mount system, flash SuperSU, reboot to system, and I lost data again and root still behaves as it did initially - TiBu and SuperSU show root, Adaway and Busybox don't. Repeat that process with a few versions of SuperSU (2.62, 2.66, etc), same issue. So I try restoring a nandroid. It fails, can't mount system. Mount system and try again, fails. Try an older nandroid - it restores through system and reboots as soon as it hits userdata. Probably has to do with the encryption. So I say screw it and use the flash all .bat file with the MTC19V image. But that also says it failed, at userdata, but it boots into the system and everything works as it did at the start, but I have no root and no TWRP. I am utterly clueless what is going on - flashing literally everything but userdata didn't solve it, and userdata can't be overwritten. Perhaps due to encryption, perhaps due to factory reset protection? I'm guessing the only option is factory reset and then starting from scratch? Does anyone have a clue why SuperSU would fail like that and how it's killing data on LTE? Perhaps Adaway tries to modify hosts, fails because root, and hangs, and the system chokes? Not sure what's going on... If some genius knows a fix or whether SuperSU is just not working with 6.0.1 MTC19V update it would be massively appreciated. [link] [comments]  |

What I'm looking for is an animation that expands the folder content with the icon at the center( think sun rays). Does any of you guys know anything like it? Or any sort of animation really.
