| Posted: 14 Jun 2016 10:52 AM PDT I wrote a basic Thai/English dictionary app. You type in a word in Thai or English, and then it spits out some translations and example sentences. It uses the thai-language.com website to look up words and displays the results in a basic WebView. After I submitted the app to the play store, Google hilariously rejected it for having SEXUALLY EXPLICIT CONTENT.
I tried to appeal and got denied with essentially the same vague response. It sure would have been helpful if they had included a screen shot showing where this sexually gratifying content is. All I see is a very tame dictionary app. I mean, I guess you could look up "fuck" or "penis" or whatever and see naughty words, but you could do that with any dictionary. There aren't even any pictures! Usually the sleep time is set to 1min but i want to quickly switch to 30min, is there a app with a widget or small homescreen button to do this? | Help with recording on the Galaxy s7 Posted: 14 Jun 2016 01:30 PM PDT The Galaxy s7 takes photos at a 4:3 ration at 2592x1944. It's a good photo that shows alot at close up. When you film though, the default is set at 1920x1080 and it cuts off alot of what would be shown if a photo was taken instead. Is it possible to make the phone record at the same ratio that it takes pictures at so that close range objects aren't cut off from being filmed? [link] [comments]  |

Posted: 14 Jun 2016 03:13 AM PDT Pretty much what the title says, my Alcatel Onetouch Idol updated to Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow a few days ago, and now I can't move apps to my SD card. Before, I was able to just go to the app's info page and press "move to SD," and now the button is missing. The app I've been using to keep track of movable apps (AppMgr III) tells me to press the new storage tab on the info page then click move, but there's no move button on any of the apps I've tried. Is there a way to move apps and still have them work or a way to rollback the update, or do I have to format my SD card and turn it into the new adaptive internal storage thing? (My phone's not rooted, so I'd prefer a solution that doesn't require rooting the phone if possible, but I'll take any solution or advice.) Thanks! [link] [comments]  |

My old Samsung Note got stolen last week and I have since replaced it with a Moto X Pure since it was on sale on Amazon. I got an SD card to go along with it, thinking I could get the apps loaded onto that, but from all my Googling, I can't figure out how to do it. I'm going into Settings > Apps, but when I click on an app like Instagram, for example, I'm only presented with "Uninstall" and "Force Stop". Apparently, I'm supposed to see something for "Change" that should move it to the SD card. | Posted: 14 Jun 2016 03:22 PM PDT I have a Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge and have noticed that my Google settings have changed without my own doing and I can't figure out how to revert back: I say "send a text message to Mom" - I hear the chime, the voice responds asking what I want to write, then I speak my message. I then hear "here's what your text looks like. Do you wish to send?" but never actually opened up the message app and I can't see the typed message until I manually open the app myself. Or I say "Ok Google" and speak a search query, and I hear the chime in response, but the browser will not open up to the Google page. For instance, if I ask "How old is [celebrity]?", the voice will read out the first answer on the Google page, but I'm left staring at my phone's wallpaper and I have to actually click on the browser to open up the page itself. I'm guessing the way this is supposed to work hasn't changed, or the voice wouldn't be asking me to look at and verify something if it's not intended that I am actually able to view what is going on. I have no idea what setting changed. I have not updated anything in over a month. This has happened before where my "Ok Google" settings changed without my knowing (I was no longer able to activate it just with my voice, but had to actually open up the browser first and then press on the microphone icon in order to speak my query, and I no longer received vocal feedback). Whenever I send a photo to someone in my contacts, another photo pops up as a thumbnail in the messages app. The receiver of the message gets the right photo, and when I click on the photo, it shows me the right photo in fullscreen. And then when I tab out of the fullscreen mode and into the messages again, it shows me another picture from my photo libary as the thumbnail. Any suggestions on how to fix this issue? This is after I've unlocked the phone, (I can access and change the settings on the menu that you get when you swipe down, clearly it is not an OS problem). I cannot select either option or otherwise make the pop-up go away. I've turn this off and on again normally, in safe and factory modes and this still comes up regardless. This first started after I had loaded some music onto the mini sd card that I use. I've tried turning the phone on after removing the sd card and it's still the same. How fucked am I?
