Flipkart has now listed the 128GB variant of the Asus Zenfone 2 at Rs 29,999. However there is no word on the availability as the page simply reads, ‘Coming soon’.
Finally, #Asus launches #Zenfone 2 in India. It will be available for pre-order starting today, exclusively on Flipkart.
There are three variants of the ZenFone 2 smartphone. The ZenFone 2 ZE551ML with 4GB of RAM, 64GB storage priced at Rs 22,999; the ZenFone 2 ZE551ML with 4GB of RAM, 32GB storage at Rs 19,999; the ZenFone 2 ZE551ML with 2GB of RAM, 16GB storage at Rs 14,999. The company has launched the ZenFone 2 ZE550ML at Rs 12,999.
However, the company didn’t launch the Asus ZenFone 2 ZE500CL with 5-inch HD display in India. The ZenFone 2 ZE551ML with 2GB of RAM, 32GB storage will also not get an India launch.
The Asus ZenFone 2 ZE551ML (4GB variant) will come powered by the 64-bit 2.3GHz quad-core Intel Atom Z3580 processor, while models with 2GB of RAM get the 64-bit 1.8GHz quad-core Intel Atom Z3560. The ZenFone 2 ZE550ML is also powered by the Intel Atom Z3560.
The Asus ZenFone 2 ZE551ML (2GB and 4GB variants) sports a 5.5-inch Full HD display and the Asus ZenFone 2 ZE550ML comes with a 5.5-inch HD display. All models get expandable memory slot up to 64GB. The specs sheet also reveals dual-SIM and 4G support, Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and GloveTouch support.
All models run the new version of the Zen UI that is built atop Android 5.0 Lollipop. On the camera front, expect a 13MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and 5MP front facing camera. It features Real-Tone flash to ensure warm skin tones and accurate colours. On the battery front, all models come equipped with a 3,000mAh Li-polymer battery along with fast charging technology, which claims to charge the phone from 0-60% in 39 minutes according to Asus.
In terms of connectivity, the device supports HSPA, 4G LTE Category 4 (FDD and TDD), WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, micro USB, GPS/A-GPS, GLONASS and USB OTG.
