[DEV] We wanted to find out who is the real couch potato, so we decided to built this app.... Posted: 17 Dec 2016 07:27 AM PST It started as a random joke during a dinner -- We wanted to find out among us who watches the most movies (as well as the crappiest movies). So after months of researching on existing Movie Tracking apps, we found none that serves that purpose... so we decided to give this a shot. With just a small team of 2 person and after two rounds of prototyping, we finally have something that we are excited to share with the world!

I recently released a new game called "Ninja Panda Bubble Shooter" - I know there are already tons of Bubble Shooter games on the store but as a Developer when you create / work on new projects you are very proud / appreciative. I am just asking you guys to download my game and possibly Rate / Comments etc. Much appreciated. Posted: 16 Dec 2016 09:39 PM PST In some apps or text field, Google Keyboard or any other keyboard doesn't allow prediction or auto-correction feature. For that, you can download Xposed module "Always Correct". Just enable it, and it'll do what you always wanted. Here's the link : http://repo.xposed.info/module/com.elesbb.xposedinputautocorrectalways [link] [comments] |
Link2sd/Apps2sd Mount script Error Posted: 17 Dec 2016 07:22 AM PST For the last 2 days, I was pissed. I have a Sony Xperia T3, with Android 4.4.2, and I want to transfer apps to my SD card. Can't transfer anything normally, so I took the root route (that rhymes!). I rooted my phone, and, when I tried to use link2sd, I got a "Mount Script cannot be created, Mount: invalid argument. I have partitioned my SD card in every way possible to get it working, tried the Apps2sd method (which says 'error command failed' and that's it). Please help me Reddit, I wanna rip my hair out and murder myself. I don't use anything in addition to my Xperia T3, no addition ROMS (Don't even know what they are), just my rooted phone and its apps. Thank you reddit, you're my only hope! [link] [comments] |
Posted: 17 Dec 2016 04:55 AM PST Hi! I'm using a rooted HTC 10 running the latest MM version of LeeDroid and have Xposed installed. I'm looking for a few apps, but even after reading through previous threads I still have a few questions. Launcher: How do launchers affect battery life? Which one do you suggest? I'm not planning to modify my screen layout radically, so I'm looking for the most stable / battery friendly app out there. It doesn't matter if it costs money. File explorer: Currently I'm using the HTC File Manager app alongside with Root Explorer Pro. I've heard many great things about ES pro, but when I checked it on the store page many reviews said that the paid version is rarely getting updated and it completely differs from the free app. Is this true? What do you recommend? (P.S.: The reason I'm not using Root Explorer Pro alone is that it's kind of ugly / complicated. I'm looking for a prettier, more intuitive app for my every day file exploring needs.) "Office" apps: I've tried Microsoft's office apps like Word / Excell but I've found them way too messy. They consumed too much RAM and even Greenify had to "struggle" to hybernate them. Google Docs isn't bad, but many times when I try to open some Word documents, it fails to show some special parts like equatations and mathematical symbols. What app(s) should I use? Thank you in advance! [link] [comments] |
Posted: 17 Dec 2016 09:13 AM PST I want to go to bed at night having pushed from desktop a gig or more of videos to a couple of phones and tablets for viewing the next day. Many big files, so over the course of a month potentially enough to trigger an ISP into throttling a line. But I'm also too lazy (and there are several devices) that I don't want to push these by USB or by taking out sd cards. Is there an Android and Web Browswer (or Windows) app that basically works like old timey ftp servers? Direct device to device sending of data? No uploading to the cloud needed. And I don't want anything else. I don't want Airdroid's security issues. I don't want to send text messages from the browser. Just want to push files back and forth on a lan. [link] [comments] |

Looking for a movie recommendation app Posted: 17 Dec 2016 12:05 AM PST So, obviously I've used Netflix, but I've found its not nearly extensive enough, nor are its recommendations good enough for me to find what I'm looking for. So, I'm a big horror movie fan, but sometimes I feel lost in a sea of bad movies, but I can't seem to get proper recommendations because I cannot in any way remember ALL of the movies that I have seen. What I'm looking for is an app that essentially can just list out movies in a genre I like and I can just say "yes, and i liked it" or "no, but i want to" etc. (I know Netflix has something similar but I've had little success) From there Id just like something with a powerful recommendation capability. Any ideas? [link] [comments] |

Apps for sharing schedule/calendar/documents? Posted: 17 Dec 2016 10:13 AM PST Hello all, I work for the Army and with that comes a lot of "more experienced" individuals that can't handle technology. So I'm looking for a simple app that I can use to share calendar events and maybe be able to upload documents to. I'm currently using Slack as it incorporates my units Google Calendar (which is awesome) however, I don't like the way it is designed as a chatroom, thus, I'm looking for an alternative. Thanks to anyone for ideas! [link] [comments] |
[DEV] My brand new app Renascienza Where Am I Posted: 17 Dec 2016 09:55 AM PST Hi, guys! I want to collect some feedback about my recently launched map-based app. You can find it on https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.renascienza.whereami Where Am I goal is invert your relationship with some interest points around. Instead of search for things, the user is notified when pass by on its area. You can check some categories of places that you don't normally actively search, but you can be happy to find. For instance, if you are on travel, can be really satisfatory to find an almost hidden touristic-cultural spot (or even more if is on your regular neigborhood and you never noticed it). You ever should be aware of places where other people suffered acidents of been robed. Some other places you want to be aware about only on specific situations, as ATM terminals, public restrooms, etc. There is some more features, but this is the fulcrum point. So, worth a try? What you think of this? Seems useful enough? Can improve something specific on the app? I think that it can be more and more useful as the user community grows, so any advice about how to spread the word about it will be very appreciated :-). [link] [comments] |
Turtl - A secure and encrypted Evernote alternative Posted: 16 Dec 2016 12:59 PM PST Given the recent changes to Evernote's privacy policy, stating that their employees can view your notes I'm sure many of you are wanting to find an alternative. Turtl is an encrypted and open source service that allows you to store notes, bookmarks, passwords, pictures, etc. There is currently an Android , Windows, and Mac application with iOS in development. I've recently made the switch and am really enjoying it. Find it here: [link] [comments] |
