| Posted: 11 Dec 2016 02:52 AM PST Hey folks, I dug up an old LGL45C phone at a garage sale. The battery seems almost new, the camera works, running Android 2.3.4. A buddy of mine is having trouble with his ex sneaking in his garage and taking things to sell (allegedly). Is there an app that would turn the camera on when motion is detected? The battery won't be an issue, we could just plug the old guy into a charger and put it in a little box or something, I think a cheap little 4gig sd would be all we need besides the app? He had all his numbers on his android phone pretty much without a name. He didnt have any numbers saved on his google account so nothing would display a name. Dont ask me why. Anyways, I call him and it shows my real name and my nickname which is wierd becuase 1. rare people know my online nicks 2.he didnt have me saved under anything. I know it couldnt mine the data from his account becuase my number is pretty much hidden on all social networks. There was one occurence where i forgot to hide my number and it could be found by google searching and it was still cached in the google search results. So it seems the caller id tries lots of ways to reference the number everywhere? I am wondering if anyone ever did any research or has more info about this, how it works? [link] [comments]  | ||

Posted: 11 Dec 2016 08:52 AM PST For example, if I've taken a picture of the garbage schedule 2 months ago, or my flight details a few weeks ago, is there a way to put just these images in a reference folder to find them quickly? I'm having to scroll through my gallery to find it which is time consuming. The only solution I can think of is to start a new label on Google keep called 'reference'. I'd love a better solution. | Posted: 11 Dec 2016 07:33 AM PST Got my Lgv20, running 7.0, and all I want to do is enjoy my new Prime account. Low and behold the Amazon Video App sucks!!! Try to download it from Amazon App Store and get an error with authentication, then I sign out, back in, it lets me download the app, but gives me an error code in app (1055). Anyone else have this issue? Just me (Doubt it)? Is there a fix? Alternative? I got to enjoy the first 3 minutes of a movie yesterday before the app crashed and went back to the error code screen. Plog does that, it also allows you to ignore numbers that don't need notes (mom) or flag items for follow up later. I have an external keyboard attached to my samsung phone and i want an app that i can customize a lot with keybindings and shortcuts. For example i would like to bind Alt+1 to open Chrome, Alt+2 open filemanager, Alt+3 open vlc and so on. Or Pressing F1 should print a text message if you are writing, for example an email address. Posted: 10 Dec 2016 02:10 PM PST Echo is an open source app available on F Droid that uses a portion of the RAM to record a set duration of audio on a rolling basis, which can then be saved to the device as needed. The software hasn't been updated since 2014 and so it won't allow you to save audio anymore when running Android 7.1. Does anyone know of software with similar functionality?
