AirMore - Alternative to AirDroid Posted: 05 Dec 2016 02:01 AM PST Considering the latest controversy following AirDroid and their security flaws, as well as AirDroid's reactions to this being questionable at least, i found a really good alternative. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.airmore&hl=en I am not a developer of this app, but I do really like it, and I find it to do everything that I used AirDroid for, if not more. I think a lot of you guys are probably looking to an alternative now, so I thought I should share. [link] [comments] |
[DEV] Billiard Adventures - Real-time billiard adventure with live balls Posted: 05 Dec 2016 03:14 AM PST Hi! One day i have imagined billiard balls that move by itself. I found this idea interesting and developed a mobile game. Real-time billiard adventure with live balls, unique abilities and power ups on 48 3D levels! What happens when billiard balls starts to move by itself, placed on different levels with unique abilities? The result is billiard adventures - game where you fight with other moving balls - they tries to drop you off the level! Balance on level's edges, solve simple physics puzzles, unlock new billiard balls, perform great combos to complete entire adventure on 48 3D levels across forest, desert, snowy lands and even dungeons. It is free, try it if you like the idea, give your feedback. Thanks! Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.crdgre.billiardadventures [link] [comments] |
[Question] Would I be able to install an older APK and use it without upgrading the app? Posted: 05 Dec 2016 07:15 AM PST Hey guys, I was looking at getting the iGrill mini Bluetooth thermometer for a Christmas present. I have looked and since Weber bought the product, the app that they require to use the thermometer is horribly reviewed in both the android and apple app stores. This makes the thermometer unusable as the smaller one does not have an actual readout on the unit. I was wondering if I would be able to download an APK from an older version of the app/origonal app and be able to still use the thermometer? Will it require me to upgrade to a newer version or would I still be able to use that version of the app? Can anyone help with this? [link] [comments] |

I enable the host file, press refresh, turn on DNS66, it seemed to skip ads on youtube, chrome etc.. for about 10min but then when I was lying in bed to go watch youtube, ads started showing up. Posted: 04 Dec 2016 02:15 PM PST Hi, If anyone gives a ?!?! you can read about some of my history here: So, I finished university around 2.5 years ago and wasn't being overly successful in my job hunt. Then, around 2 years ago I started teaching myself how to programme. I had the idea for Munch'Migo and decided to build it myself. I have been living off of a fairly tight budget during this time. My general allowance has been around £20 a week. And, the majority of that money was basically spent on: cigarettes, protein shakes, a sim only mobile contract, and a subscription to LBC. About the app: Munch'Migo is kind of like the Tinder of food and diet types, except it's purpose is more open than Tinder's. Of course, you can use the app romantically. On that note, I see Munch'Migo as an app that introduces you to someone for a first date, whereas Tinder has more for a one-night stand mentality behind it. But, you can also use Munch'Migo to find a friend or someone to show you around town when you're in a new place too. The whole idea behind Munch'Migo is that you can use it in the way that you want to use it - what the app's final purpose becomes can still be shaped by its user-base (current user-Count = 2). You can search for users based on their gender, and diet types (vegan, vegetarian, carnivore). I've also tried to make the app vegan and vegetarian friendly! At the moment, the app has no users! So, if you download it, the chances are that you won't be able to find anyone to migo (meet) with. But, if you do download it, and then someone else in your area downloads the app in the future then they'll be able to find you! So, you can think of making your profile on Munch'Migo now as an investment in a future migo-meetup. That said, you'll be doing me a massive favour as well. The app might not be as unique as it was when I first thought of it, but, it has taken me a long time to develop and I hope that I can still get a solid user-base using it. Its available on both Android (download: here) and iOS (download: here). <------------ I'm open to suggestions of how I can change the app and you can feel free to message me or comment below with any feedback you have about Munch'Migo. Anyways, Thanks for your time Reddit! Micah. P.S. thank you r/vegan & r/androiddev for your help! Edit: I now have 24 users - Thanks Reddit! [link] [comments] |

What is best/(most simple) way to verify the signed signature of an apk? Posted: 04 Dec 2016 07:25 PM PST I don't have Google Play and know there are reputable sources, just want to make sure they are the real deal. [link] [comments] |
[question] how much time do you need before you can tell if your app is a failure? Posted: 04 Dec 2016 06:37 PM PST I just launched my second app (first game) to Google Play last Sunday. So far it only has about 200 downloads and about 18 reviews, albeit positive ones. I've emailed every app review site requesting a review and even paid for a couple but nothing has really boosted downloads. I know Google gives you 30 days before it's not considered a new release. I know it's still early in the game but I also think that if it doesn't get a boost now - it never will. My question is, when do you know it's not going to happen? Does anyone with a successful game have any advice on timing? Were there any games that emerged months after release? Is there anything else I should be doing at this stage of marketing or if it hasn't happened by now, pack it in? Thanks [link] [comments] |

Is it worth installing an antivirus app? Posted: 04 Dec 2016 11:45 AM PST Just browsing the internet on my phone and a virus alert popped up, my phone vibrated for a couple of seconds then stopped. Nothing has happened since. This was about fifteen minutes ago. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 04 Dec 2016 12:05 PM PST I keep seeing cool results with experimenting with panoramas like this: https://i.redd.it/ciatk3gnsj1y.jpg But none of my phone's panorama apps will let me do this, because they all look at the gyro and accelerometer sensors and force you to take a proper panorama. Are there any that will let you ignore the gyro sensors and still try to stitch whatever you feed the app automatically? The only alternative I know of are the fully manual panorama apps on PC, but they have a ton of settings and are very tedious and take a lot of time. I'm looking for something more in between - still an automatic cell phone app, but will let me experiment. [link] [comments] |
