[DEV] Sync For Reddit V12.1 Is Out Now Posted: 13 Sep 2016 06:28 AM PDT Afternoon all, I've just pushed a huge update to Sync for reddit so I thought I'd share with /r/androidapps! Featuring:

Posted: 13 Sep 2016 08:18 AM PDT Hi redditors,
In the past days I posted about Memorigi, my first Android app soon to be released. Memorigi is a different Task, To-Do, Reminder app (post here: https://www.reddit.com/r/androidapps/comments/51gt11/dev_close_to_release_my_first_android_app_and_im/ and screenshots here: http://imgur.com/a/f9b3C).
I received a great amount of excellent feedback and I want to thank every single one of you beta-testers out there (you guys are amazing!). In the next minutes, I'm switching Memorigi from closed beta to open beta. That means no more PM to include you as beta-tester. Just go to the store using the link below and download the app. There's a limit of 1000 testers for now but I'll increase it if necessary.
Be aware: previous testers received a licensed beta account so they can "fake buy" the Plus/Premium packages without been charged. This is not the case. Unfortunately, Google imposes a limit of 400 beta tester licenses so I cannot offer the same deal to everybody. I still have licenses to give away so if you want one
I'll randomly select in the afternoon the remaining amount of licenses from that list and I'll send you a message indicating if you got selected. Current licensed beta testers will keep their license during beta phase.

Promo Plus Codes In the next days after the release this week I'll give away Plus codes for free in Memorigi's Facebook Page here https://www.facebook.com/memorigi/ and in its Google Plus Page here https://plus.google.com/u/0/b/106637450863925022072/106637450863925022072.
Once again, thank you all and I hope you like Memorigi as much as I do. [link] [comments]

[DEV] SCRABBLE RUSH: A different kind of scrabble. Real time dual player quicktime scrabble. Posted: 13 Sep 2016 05:44 AM PDT Hi everyone. We have a very simple game: Scrabble Rush. Similar to the original Scrabble, you play with a random opponent or, a friend. But in Scrabble Rush you both make words at the same time. You both get word puzzle which can have multiple solution (can be solved by multiple combinations of letters). The aim is to make more words faster than your opponent and wait for their timer to run out. Make words quickly and take away your opponents coin, leaving them high and dry. If you get stuck at some combinations, make use of potions and skip the word. Looking for feedback. Thank you. PLAYSTORE LINK! [link] [comments]
Can I download apps directly to SD card? Posted: 13 Sep 2016 06:58 AM PDT My phone doesn't have space for new apps, I was able to move a few apps to a microSD, but there's a bit of a snag. I have to download an app to my phone, then move it to the SD card. But I can't move the default apps on my phone, and a bunch of other downloaded apps can't be moved. So I wind up with no room to download apps, even with a microSD [link] [comments]

Is the official Facebook app still crappy? Posted: 13 Sep 2016 09:29 AM PDT A few months back, the facebook app was discovered to drain battery when installed. I'm using swipe right now, but every time I open it, it refreshes the page (wanted to continue reading where I left off). Anyone can confirm if they fixed the app? [link] [comments]

[Request] [Nougat] Wifi Calling QS Tile Posted: 13 Sep 2016 09:45 AM PDT Hi, I'm not sure if this is possible, but I was wondering if anyone had a plan in the works for creating a quick settings toggle app for WiFi calling on stock Nougat (Nexus devices?). I'm not sure if it's possible as these phones recently started getting the capability as of the past year or so. I have seen other toggle apps that are either phone or carrier specific. I also tried a tasker plugin, which was only for T-Mobile's wifi calling app, which Nexus devices do not use. The purpose for this request is basically headache abatement. I have multiple locations I make calls from regularly, some have great cell coverage, others rely on WiFi, and I'm finding myself forgetting to turn it back off or back on after a poor quality call because of how many steps it takes. It sort of gets a back burner. I'm sure it would be useful to have a swipe and tap take the place of going into settings and turning it off manually. [link] [comments]
Posted: 13 Sep 2016 09:43 AM PDT Is there an app that works in a similar way to how gtasks used to work 1 - 2 years ago? I have researched this, but every app I have seen is either lacking functionality, or isn't designed to do specifically what I need it to do. Gtasks has become progressively worse, and is now almost non-functional to me. The main deal-breaker is that tasks pop up anywhere from 5 - 35 minutes late (tested on multiple devices). They also switched up their UI so that when multiple tasks pop up at once, they open in one "omni-notification." You have to "snooze" or "complete" every task before the notification will go away, when the tasks used to have their own individual notifications. If I have only completed one task, I want to be able to mark that one as "complete" without needing to snooze my other tasks. I mostly need an app to remind myself to do daily/weekly/one-off tasks. The functionality I am looking for includes:
It's annoying because gtasks still does 95 - 99% of what I need it to do and used to be my favorite/most used app, it has just become FAR less reliable and added that silly omni-notification. [link] [comments]
Non-premium Spotify "click to watch short video ad" no working anymore? Posted: 13 Sep 2016 09:39 AM PDT For the past week or so no I've noticed that the click to watch a short video ad doesn't work like it did before. In the past you would watch the 15-30 second video and then it would play that 15 second thing that says enjoy 30 minutes of ad free music. Now when I do the same thing it plays the video first then does 2 30 second audio ads like it would do without the video ad thing clicked. Essentially making it useless. Anyone else seeing this happen now? [link] [comments]
Simple coin flipping game, "Tails Never Fails"! - New developer Posted: 13 Sep 2016 08:49 AM PDT Hello everyone, I am a new developer with experience with java in many different projects. While I program pure java in an environment and have helped develop ROMs for multiple nexus devices, I have never tried making an app. So I had an idea and wanted to see how it would work! Please let me know how it works, looks, and how you like it! Please see disclaimer below (It is currently not on the Play Store because of the disclaimer below). https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24723757092307054 My current high streak is 10, let's see if you can beat that! DISCLAIMER I am aware the layout on many low res and small screen devices will NOT look good and will NOT function properly. I created this app for my Nexus 6p and have not adjusted the layout properties to allow for all devices resolutions. Please do not tell me it's broken or doesn't work on a Nexus 5, I know! App that converts text to speech and keeps the recording Posted: 13 Sep 2016 08:27 AM PDT I want something that I can record speech into and will convert the speech into text. I would then like to be able to send someone the recording and the text. Google keep does this but I can't use it because I can't share this with people in China (I'm aware of VPN etc... this isn't an option here tho ;) So

[DEV] A little logic game. My first app :) Posted: 12 Sep 2016 07:20 PM PDT Made over a weekend to get into the game. There are a few known bugs but I'm actively improving it and hope to add some features. Come check out the game that kept me busy in Mr. Swiftneys chem class for two years :) [link] [comments]
Posted: 13 Sep 2016 12:09 AM PDT Hi Guys, I'm finding for an app with which I can read CBR and CBZ comics. I've tired some apps: Perfect Viewer : Awful UI. Too many gestures that makes you to do what you won't while you're reading Astonishing Comic Reader : all ok but the comic is renderized in low quality and you can't choice HQ in settings. BTW some issues with A-Z sort too. Mixplorer with Reader Plug in : the best I've found but I can't read CBR but CBZ only. Suggestions? [link] [comments]

Posted: 13 Sep 2016 06:17 AM PDT I downloaded two different call recording apps (one being ACR, the other I can't remember) and both of them only record what I say. The other party is pretty much mute. Their voice IS recorded, but it's so quiet you can't even tell someone is speaking. [link] [comments]

Posted: 13 Sep 2016 01:42 AM PDT It's stuff that I can't seem to find or could be locked away behind the paywall, so it's hard to tell if some of my preferences are hidden or just not there.
Thanks guys. [link] [comments]
