'Pixel Lights' on the new phones? Posted: 12 Sep 2016 02:35 PM PDT Do you want the Pixel lights on the new Pixel phones? I know I would, if we could control them (notifications) etc. It would be good to have them on the back, as there's no Active Display there. [link] [comments]

Posted: 12 Sep 2016 03:53 PM PDT Just wanted to say some quick things about the Huawei P9. It's incredible so far. I've had it for around a week and I'm using it on Vodafone network in the UK. The design of the phone is gorgeous, slender and metallic but not slippery like my Sony Z3. The dual camera is a little gimmicky but the results are astounding and as software updates keep rolling in, the post processing should improve too. There's a nifty DoF effect which you can edit even after the photo has been taken. However there are small artifacts around the subject. The battery life is very solid, around 5-6 hours of SoT with medium usage and max brightness, wifi and mobile data. I was very hesitant to go to the P9 and was leaning toward a Samsung or Sony as I have a focus on the design and feel of the device. The P9 is truly a great premium phone (without the premium price £350) as I got mine for £24 pm on contract. The EMUI feels very IOS like but has very cool little tricks...Nova or Action launcher can sort you out if you don't want to get used to it. [link] [comments]
