I also found AdGuard which also blocks ads, so I want to know which one works better, in battery usage, resource usage and performance. | [request] widget that only shows up once a day. Posted: 28 May 2016 02:02 PM PDT I don't know if this possible. But I'm looking for a way to have a widget only show up once a day when I wake up. I'd like to have something like those smart mirrors with the weather, news, calendar that have have been showing up, except I want it on my home screen when I wake up. I currently use a minimal home screen with only the Google Search widget. I prefer a simple home screen with no clutter so if possible I'd like to swipe it away almost like a notification. I know I could do this in my notifications but I'd rather have it show up when I unlock the phone instead. Is this even possible? If it helps I already have tasker. Thanks [link] [comments]  | ||

I want to be able to text throught the app when i'm offline and when i have a connection i want to be able to message someone. I've already checked out Hangouts/Signal but since i deinstalled the play services / google service framework etc. i want to have an app that doesn't require play services etc. I've already checkout out LibreSignal (the fork of signal without the google stuff but i can't call through the app). All of the 'screen off' apps I can find also lock the screen and this stops smart lock working. My phone isn't rooted. [link] [comments]  |
