For the love of all that is good, is there a SIMPLE hour tracker for work? Posted: 22 May 2016 10:09 PM PDT Every one I download seems jam packed with features to track anything and everything combined with a ton of other projects. I just want these things: -To track hours. If anyone knows of an app to do this without getting lost in tons of configuration and options, please suggest it to me! Thank you for your time. [link] [comments]
I'm a first timer on Android, what apps should I use? Posted: 22 May 2016 12:38 PM PDT Dear Redditguys, I've always used an iPhone, but recently i've switched to Android. When it comes to apps i've always used a lot of iOS only apps. I was wondering what apps you recommend that I use as a substitute for those apps. These are the apps I've used a lot: Tweetbot Airmail Drafts Notes.app Fantastical Overcast Reeder Workflow So what are the Android counterparts for these apps? What are the best apps that I should use on Android? Hope you can help Thanks

Posted: 22 May 2016 10:04 AM PDT I'm a new developer to Android and I am hoping to get some feedback on my current project, an icon pack. If you are interested, I would really appreciate it if you tried it out and told me what you think. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.aschwartz.flatwhite Also, let me know if you have any ideas for icon packs that you would like to see on the Play store? The best way you can help out is by submitting an icon request. This tells me what icons you have that aren't themed so I can add them to this icon pack. The easiest way to do this is to go to the request tab in the app (looks like an envelope) and select all apps and share them via email. UPDATE: Hopefully I will be able to go through your icon requests and submit a huge update by Sunday, May 29th. Thanks for helping out! Questions? Email me at schwartzadev(at)gmail(dot)com Thanks! Posted: 22 May 2016 09:19 AM PDT Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask, but I've finally made the jump. One of the biggest pushes was the number of times I saw a cool app that was Android only. So, in your opinion, what are the best apps I never knew I needed in my life? [link] [comments]
[Question] A free or cheap app for cropping video Posted: 23 May 2016 02:22 AM PDT The video files I want to crop already have a 1x1 aspect ratio. I just want to be able to make a tighter 1x1 crop. I don't want any watermarks or app branding in the files that it outputs. [link] [comments]
What's a good Flashcard App that doesn't Randomise/Limit your study? Posted: 22 May 2016 08:34 PM PDT The reason I'm not a fan of Ankri right now, or Cram for that matter, is that once you've created your deck, it only lets you study a maximum of 20 entries a day, without even letting you study those same cards again, which is just sad. When I was learning Italian, I studied five cards a day, but every so often I'd make sure those five cards were fresh in my mind, ready for the next day. I ended up having like 50 Italian words and phases in memory. I struggle to find anything like this online. I don't mind finding one that's ideally run on a desktop computer, but I'd prefer mobile (I use Android) because that's a closer feeling I'd get to holding an actual card. Any advice guys? If anyone wants some context as to how I'm going to be using flashcards, I'm aiming to remember the steps for this tutorial and part two of the tutorial. [link] [comments]
How to uninstall DU Quick Charge Posted: 22 May 2016 05:00 PM PDT This app just appeared on my phone. I uninstalled my last ten newest apps and cleared partition cache but it remains. Internet search shows lots of explanations on how it may have got there but I cannot find any instructions on how to locate it and remove it. My phone is stock Moto X pure 6.0 not rooted. Thanks in advance! [link] [comments]
[DEV] GravityGestures - Moto Actions alike app for all devices Posted: 22 May 2016 10:01 AM PDT Hello Guys! Today I want to present to you my new app.
GravityGestures is a revolutionary application that helps you save a lot of time. It brings the functions of Moto Actions to all the device and a lot more. There are four gestures available:
You can link different action to these gestures: opening an app, toggle settings, like wifi and bluetooth or make a call. The interface is easy, friendly and follow the material design specification. You can add as many gesture as you want and delete them anytime with just a swipe. The app automatically start when you turn on your device, you don't need to open it every time. Even when the screen is off you can still use your gestures.
Link: Join the Beta and give feedback
List of actions available:
You can bind this actions to the gestures and trigger them whenever you want, even with the screen off if you active the proximity sensor.
Thanks for your time, TinoooApp

Posted: 22 May 2016 05:25 PM PDT Remember the bad translator website? It was one of my favourite sites to pass time as some funny situations usually popped up, they took it down so I decided to make my own app for it (and website for those interested) The basics of it for those that don't know is you put in a phrase you want, and the app translates it to a random language and back to English, over and over again. Or, as Android Police said: "This app takes input text and translates it into another language using automated tools. And then it translates the text into another language the same way. Then another, and another, before finally re-translating it into the original language. It's like a game of Telephone, only everyone playing is a computer, and all the computers speak different languages." https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.plp.badtranslator [link] [comments]
Posted: 23 May 2016 07:19 AM PDT So I have tried a ton of different budget apps and they all either dont sync with my bank, or they want me to enter a standard income amount per month. I want an app that syncs with my bank, and will let me organize my transactions to let me know my available balance for the month, just by tracking the income into my account, and without me having to input a standard monthly salary, as I have a job that doesnt have a constant salary. Basically what I want is a tracker that subtracts reoccurring expenses from the available balance in the account. [link] [comments]
Posted: 23 May 2016 07:15 AM PDT So after reading what truecaller does with your contacts pictures and everything, I'm looking for an alternative. I'm looking for something that I can use to block phone number and preventing them leaving a message in my voicemail. Plus I'm looking for an app that could identify a phone number. What I mean is if I get a call from 123-1212 then it should do some kind of lookup and tell me it's my dentist for example. Any ideas ? Recommendations ? Thanks [link] [comments]
looking for a school-lunch-bell-type app Posted: 22 May 2016 09:27 PM PDT Something that sounds a notification at certain times of day, such as lunchtime or when it's time to brush my teeth for bed. Alarm apps I've tried don't work well because they are too intrusive, requiring me to dismiss the alarm to stop it from playing. I basically just want my device to boop at certain times of day, like a school bell. No turning the screen on, snoozing, etc.. Thank you! [link] [comments]

[Question] is there an app for finding other apps that are currently on sale? Posted: 23 May 2016 12:54 AM PDT I think I remember seeing something like this in a video a while ago but for the life of me I can't remember it. [link] [comments]
Need an app that announces the time. Posted: 22 May 2016 06:19 PM PDT I've been listening to audiobooks at work. My watches have all broken, and I'm using a bluetooth adapter so I can keep my phone a safe distance from me. So I'm looking for an app I can set to announce the time, say on the hour and half hour. But one that can be disabled for when I'm not wearing headphones/working. Is there any such app? [link] [comments]
App with stickers from the community Posted: 23 May 2016 05:19 AM PDT Kamio has been taken down (for some reason). What does it do? It provides an editor that allows to make fast edits with PNGs from the community or custom ones (made with an eraser inside the app). I'm looking for a similar app that is still usable.
