Snapchat should have lists or groups Posted: 19 May 2016 06:04 AM PDT "Home friends" "Fantasy football league" "Kickball team" "Work group" This seems like such an easy detail that would save so much time [link] [comments]
Posted: 19 May 2016 07:31 AM PDT I'm finding myself perpetually frustrated and constantly switching between these two apps. They each have their pros and cons, but it seems like each feature one is missing, the other has. This is great for competition, but can be frustrating for the user. This is both a mini rant and a post looking for potential solutions as I'm sure I'm not the only one with these frustrations. Instapaper Pros:

Complained to Google about Touchpal. Got a refund from the subscription I've paid Posted: 18 May 2016 12:38 PM PDT TouchPal was probably one of the best keyboards I've ever used. The Paste, Copy, Cursor functionality is something no one else has. The word prediction/correction was perfect. I use 3 languages and all have a very decent dictionary. To avoid the ads I decided to pay for the annual subscription (5.49€) and was fine for a couple of months. Recently I've started to see the "Application Lock" addon, the "Battery charger" and all other crap that I didn't ask for. I decided to uninstall the app, accept my economical lost and complaint to Google through the link in Google Play. I did not expect any answer from Google, but today I just saw in my bank the 5.49€ back from Google. Amazed how the complaint has worked. Now I just hope this company gets banned. Snapchat, please add an option to disable notifications when someone is typing Posted: 18 May 2016 01:42 PM PDT I don't care if someone is typing, I want to receive a notification when someone has sent a message. It just causes me to turn on my phone early and sit there and wait for it. [link] [comments]

Is there w way to filter photo folders in Facebook messenger? Posted: 19 May 2016 08:05 AM PDT Every time I try to send a photo messenger shows all the pictures I have on my phone (including music album cover arts). Posted: 18 May 2016 08:27 PM PDT Hi friends. I'm a carpenter who just started out being self employed three months ago. Everything is going really well and I already have work for the whole summer! Anyways, I'm having a little bit of a problem keeping track of all my receipts. Right now I have a binder with a plastic folder for each job. I buy materials for a ton of money and if I loose just one receipt it could cost me huge. If I lost my binder I'd be fucked. On top of my costumers I have a million receipts for tools/gas/etc that I will need to claim back the tax for. It is one big mess, to be honest. So whats the best app for keeping track of receipts for a guy like me? Thanks [link] [comments]

Posted: 19 May 2016 08:44 AM PDT Im getting quite frustrated here trying to be to able to reply and send SMS messages from my desktop/mac with my Android phone. I have been looking for hours trying to find a means of doing this. I use google hangouts a lot but from what I can gather there is no way to reply to SMS messages without a google voice or Project Fi account (both not available in the UK). I have used mighty text, AirDroid and Pushbullet. Only Pushbullet was the only app I could use without encountering a ton of glitches or annoyances but there is a monthly charge. With the recent Google I/O announcements there was no mention of desktop support for googles new SMS/Wifi messaging app "Allo". So I am starting to think there is no hope without having to deal with a monthly fee or deal with terrible UI and glitches. So if there is anyone in the UK that knows a means of getting desktop sms working (preferably through Google Hangouts) I would really appreciate it if you could let me know :) [link] [comments]

Having trouble with the Stock gallery app. Posted: 19 May 2016 04:35 AM PDT Hi, I've got this phone(HtC Desire 620G) for one month, it has incredibly inadequate storage, the package says 8GB the Rom takes slightly more than 4GB, so I'm stuck with a phone with 3.7GB of storage. I have a External SD card, but the actual problem is, that there is a folder (called thumbnail or something) that is taking up 1.5GB of my storage, which is bad because I bought it for the Octa-Core processor(which runs almost everything great btw, including GTA:SA and Real Racing 4) Is there a solution other than deleting it? Because it just rebuilds itself after a few seconds. Idk if it's necessary, but here are some specs: OS: Android OS v4.4.4 (KitKat) Chipset: Mediatek MT6592 CPU: Octa-core 1.7 GHz Cortex-A7 GPU: Mali-450MP4 MEMORY: Card slot microSD, up to 32 GB (dedicated slot) Internal 8 GB, 1 GB RAM If this isn't the right place to post, I'll remove.
