BlackBerry Priv Android 5.1.1 Lollipop March security patch Rolling out Now [ How to update]

BlackBerry Priv Android 5.1.1 Lollipop March security patch is now available to download.

The update, which weighs in around 17MB, brings some additional security enhancements to the phone. At this time it is not known which vulnerabilities are addressed in this update, though Google is likely to announce full details at some point in the near future.

BlackBerry notes installing the update will make the “Priv even more secure and productive,” but doesn’t go into specifics enhancements. The update can be downloaded by tapping Settings, About Device, Software update, and then Update now.
