I know that I can change the permissions on marshmallow, but this is a root app, so I need to be a little bit more vigilant about it. So can you recommend me a good system app uninstaller. I'm currently pretty happy with Textra, and have been for years, except for the fact that I've wanted a QR that behaves like the Samsung and iOS stock clients'. Anyone got a tip for me? Why I'm not using AwSms: It simply will not work with mms for me. I've tried it on three different phones (N5, G3, Z5), on two different carriers (though both carriers use the same physical network), on both Loli and M, with no luck. I'm thinking it might be carrier related, but nothing I've tried has worked, and all other apps handle mms just fine. [link] [comments]  | ||

However, it seems to no longer work as a lockscreen within marshmallow due to the app requiring usage permissions. Is their any alternative that functions similarly? The main features I'm looking for is - able to only include specific folders in library That last item is why I'm looking for an alternative. I'm using this on an cheap phone as an mp3 player only, but after a week or so poweramp disables itself as it can't check license information. | [Request] Searching for an audio player with a few specific functions Posted: 16 Jun 2016 09:33 AM PDT I record all of my lectures in a MP4 format on a stand-alone device, and would like to be able to carry them with me on my cell phone for easier listening. What I need the app to do. 1.) Increase playback speed. A few teachers talk slowly, so I would like the ability to, on the fly, change the rate of playback. 2.) Audio Boost. Again, some Professors are a bit hard to hear in the recordings. So this would be a bonus. What I would like the app to do. 1.) Cloud Storage. Although my phone does have a large removable SD card, I would prefer to not HAVE to load it up with lectures. 2.) A potential for a "speech to text" system would be HUGE. I have no idea if that's even an option or possibility, but I would love if it would read the audio and transcribe it. It seems as though you cant lock your screen while using sleep bot or sleep cycle, as they alarm doesnt go off until i wake my screen unlike with sleep as android. Is this the case? | Is Google Play Music a good way to keey music synced? Posted: 16 Jun 2016 06:39 AM PDT Hey. So I like uploading my songs to Google Play Music like most of you do. However I find the player and experience to be a bit lackluster. I think Phonograph is quite good and would like to use that as my music player of choice. Is it viable to use Google Play Music as a way of continuously downloading my music to my phone, once I have uploaded it to my PC? Another thing more related to Google Play Music, is it possible for it to refresh the library and do a deep scan? I had loads of old music that was of bad quality and I reuploaded better quality versions, however now in some cases Google Play Music has 2 or even 3 versions of the song. How can I make it rescan the whole library and delete any missing songs and duplicates? Appreciate any input into this. [link] [comments]  |
